Using multi window may help too.Press Control + Tab to jump to the next open tab on the right. That way each browser is only using a small porrion of the cpu at any one time, and the page tabs will be more visible on the small screen. You could use the onboard Internet browser for 7 pages or tabs, Firefox for 7 more, and Chrome or Next browser for the rest. I find that generally any more than 8 tabs per browser tends to overwhelm the device. Have you thought about opening the pages individually and saving them as a read later?Īnother option would be to usr multiple browsers forvselect pages. Whereas if you simply open the page the most current info will be available at the time of opening.
If you are only viewing the same 20 pages through the day, why not simply open them as needed? Why do they need to be open in the background? If there is dynamic info on thise pages it will tie up background memory to update constantly. Once you select always for that particular page, firefox should be the automatically selected browser. I think it has something to do with the cookies for that page. The selection to use Firefox as default always happens on my device also. When a link loads I get a notification on the bottom and all streaming video such as youtube stops. Not sure why I am being asked every time if I choose "Always".Ģ) Loading the links is truly not performed in the background.
